Robert

July 18, 2018

Robert lived in his car since his teenage years. He had hopes of a better life but, with the stress of finding shelter constantly lingering over him, Robert struggled for years to complete a certificate course in major appliance repair. One night, at a winter shelter in late 2016, he was introduced to Union Station Homeless Services whose program truly helped him transform his life.

Just months later, Robert completed his certification program, moved on to permanent housing and secured a full-time position with a wholesale distributor. “I am grateful for everything Union Station did for me,” says Robert. “All the services they provide are useful and helpful to those that take advantage of them. It was definitely my golden ticket opportunity to get back on my feet!”
